Janki Govani

Janki Govani is an environmental professional with over four years of experience in sustainability, ESG advisory, and waste management. She has worked extensively across sectors to support organizations in integrating sustainability into core operations, with a particular focus on data systems, reporting frameworks, and regulatory compliance. Her technical expertise spans several global frameworks, including TCFD, CDP, BRSR, GRI, and SBTi, where she has led or supported the preparation of ESG disclosures and helped organizations map their sustainability performance against global best practices. Janki also supports financial institutions in understanding and managing climate-related and environmental risks by conducting climate risk assessments and benchmarking exercises. Her work aligns with TCFD guidelines and focuses on both physical and transition risks, ensuring that banks and other financial actors can embed climate risk into their governance, strategy, and risk management systems. In addition to her technical roles, Janki contributes to institutional capacity building by designing and delivering training programs on ESG reporting, climate risk, and MRV systems.
